Help us celebrate and support refugees in our community by volunteering at our World Refugee Day celebration!

Event Overview:

World Refugee Day is a treasured holiday that brings refugees from all backgrounds together to remember and celebrate their shared courage with food, activities, and performances. This is a specific celebration for our local refugee community! This day will not be open to the public, but we would love to have volunteers assist us in hosting a safe & fun event honoring our refugee neighbors! The event will be on Saturday, June 20th at Christian Fellowship School (4600 Christian Fellowship Rd, Columbia, MO 65203).

Volunteer Needs:

Set Up Crew 2-4pm (tents, decor, tables, signage, help vendors unload, direct traffic)
Parking Assistant 4-6pm (direct traffic)
Volleyball Assistant 4-7pm
Food Server 4-7pm
Event Assistant 9am-12pm (kids activities, trash, refill water stations, directing people, etc.)
Clean Up Crew 7-9pm (tables & chairs, trash, help load up activity booths)
