Help us celebrate and support refugees in our community by joining City of Refuge for the Summer Market!

Event Overview:

The Summer Market will be an outdoor market filled with live entertainment, kids activities, food vendors, and goods for sale by both refugee and local artisans! The market will be hosted at City of Refuge (10 N. Garth Ave.) from 4-9pm on Friday, June 20th. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend! Volunteers will be needed to help us create a fun and safe environment in a variety of different roles! 

Volunteer Needs:

• Set Up Crew 2-4pm (pop-up tents, decor, tables, signage, help vendors unload, direct traffic)
• Kid Activity Assistant 4-6pm & 6-8pm (assist balloon artist, safety eyes on playground, etc.)
• Refugee Artisan Assistant 3-6pm & 6-9pm (help unload & set up booth, cash handling, customer service, patience & support)
• Event Assistant 4-6pm & 6-8pm (trash, food assistance, logistics, etc.)
• Clean Up Crew 8:45-10pm (tables & chairs, trash, help vendors load up)
