Volunteer for our 2nd annual Holiday Market!

Event Overview:

Our Holiday Market is back for a second year of festivities! Boasting nearly 50 vendors of local and refugee backgrounds, the Holiday Market will be a great way for the public to purchase handcrafted holiday gifts, eat delicious food, and enjoy live entertainment! There will be activities for kids, (hopefully) an appearance from Santa, and various singing/performing acts for everyone to enjoy. This event was a roaring success last year, and we are so excited to create an even better experience this time! Thank you for considering volunteering- we hope you (and your friends, family, everyone!*) will join us!

This will be an outdoor event on Saturday, December 7th from 9am-3pm at City of Refuge, 10 N. Garth Ave. 

Volunteer Needs:

• Prep Crew on Wednesday, December 4th 10am-12pm (gather supplies, decor, set up lights, prep signs, etc.) Please note that this opportunity is NOT on the day of the event!
• Set Up 7-9am (tables, tents, signs, outdoor decor, parking, vendor unload)
• Event Assistant 8:30am-12pm or 12-3pm (vendor support & hospitality, trash, misc needs)
• Refugee Artisan Assistant 8:30am-12pm or 12-3pm (get paired with refugee artisan to help with handling money, drawing customers, etc.)
• Kid's Activity Assistant 9am-12pm or 12-3pm (assist balloon artist, kid's craft area, photo booth)
• Clean Up Crew 2:30-4:30pm (tables, tents, signs, take down decor, trash)
