World Refugee Day Celebration

CELEBRATE WORLD REFUGEE DAY WITH OUR REFUGEE NEIGHBORS ON JUNE 24th

It is almost time for World Refugee Day 2023!

A thriving refugee community has come to exist in our midwestern state, and this is worth celebrating!

We are teaming up with Catholic Charities Refugee Services again to host a World Refugee Day 2023 Celebration on June 24th at MU Healthcare Pavilion in Columbia. Food, games, performances, and more will be featured in a family friendly environment in which all are welcome. We expect a great turnout, and plan to see several hundred (or more!) of our neighbors and community members celebrating with us. Putting on an event of the size and scope that is planned requires resources, and Catholic Charities and City of Refuge are looking for volunteers to make it happen. You can sign up to volunteer here!
